We review your basement's ceiling height, windows, plumbing and existing systems before pricing, so the budget reflects what the space actually needs. A dedicated project manager runs the job, and every change is approved in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add a rental suite to my basement in Ottawa? Most Ottawa homes can add a secondary dwelling unit if it meets zoning and Ontario Building Code requirements. We review your home and handle the permit.

Do I need a permit to finish my basement? In most cases, yes, especially if you're adding a bathroom, moving walls or creating a suite.

How long does a basement renovation take? A basement finish usually takes several weeks; a full secondary suite takes longer because of fire separation, separate entrances and inspections.
